Current time in Kenya:
Kenya is a truly wonderful destination, holding every type of holiday imaginable - wilderness, coastlines, mountains, forests, lakes, desert and cities. If it's wildlife you're after, there are several ways to experience it in Kenya, luxury safaris in 4x4s, walking safaris that take you through herds of plains animals in the open savannah, tracking game on horseback, or watching elephants graze from the comfort of your lodge, or what the hell - everything in one trip! Whatever you have in mind, we can make it happen.
While most people think of the open lands and incredible game when they think of Kenya (and quite rightly so), don't forget about the amazing coastline it has to offer too. With pristine white sandy beaches and the warm Indian ocean, it's a perfect place for a beach getaway, and still largely untouched by crowds of tourists. Our favourite Kenyan beach-spot has got to be Lamu, a stunning tropical island where you feel like you have just stepped out of the world as you know it, and into a new dimension where time slows down, people are friendly, and the sun shines all the live-long-day!

When to go
The hot, dry weather in January and February is the peak season for visiting Kenya - this is also because the birdlife in the Rift Valley at this time is quite prolific. The rains arrive in March and continue through May, leaving June to September dry before less extensive rains in October to December.
