When to go
Monsoon season runs from July to November, making it a sticky and rather uncomfortable time to visit. Following this (up till about mid-February) is a cool, dry period. Summer is hottest between March and June. And so November to February are the best months to travel in Thailand as the weather is kind and the beaches are at their best. This is also when Thailand has most of their festivals. If you want to miss the crowds travel in the low seasons (April to June, September and October) - or stay away from the busiest destinations during peak season (Chiang Mai and all islands and beaches!).
